Modular fold systems for different applications
MB Bäuerle offers special fold modules for lettershops. They are mobile and can be combined into different systems, adapted to the individual needs. These modules are also equipped with computer-control. High operator convenience, short set-up times and minimum waste are their outstanding features. The following machine systems are available:

MB-System CAS 52 MAIL
Modular folding for direct mail: Intelligent, adaptable, universal.
The fold unit CAS 52/0/4-SL (stand-alone) was developed specifically for the direct mail industry. It is mobile and has its own operator panel. This feature allows using the CAS 52/0/4-SL in conjunction with other fold units or as a stand-alone unit. A large variety of applications is therefore possible.

Print on Demand: Optimizing through computer-controlled folding.
Paper feeding is done by coupling to other machine systems. Various modules are available for the alignment table (DAT 14, DAT 24, ART 52). The basic fold unit CAS 52/4 is capable of producing all common types of parallel folds. A second fold unit is needed for producing crossfolds.

Accumulating and folding with computer-control: More reliable and versatile.MB-System ACCU allows reliable processing of a varying number of sheets without changing fold roller pressure. Accumulation is possible from top to bottom or from bottom to top. Variable one-up or two-up feeding. Accumulating by code reading up front or integrated preset counter.
