drupa 2008 - Review
The products that MB Bäuerle showed at the drupa 2008 were well received by numerous visitors. This resulted in many promising contacts and talks about folding, inserting and the production of mailings. To keep up with the increasing specialisation in the printing industry, MB has concentrated on expanding the automation of its solutions.
The prestigeFOLD NET 38 was presented for the first time at the drupa 2008. This means that there is now also a machine with the highest level of operator convenience and network capability for the lower range of formats. The automatic setting takes over the positioning of setting elements for the flat pile feeder, fold plate stops, deflectors, fold rollers, alignment rails and delivery rollers. The target group for this machine are mostly A3 printers, but it is also very interesting for pharmaceutical companies and businesses producing small-format package inserts.
Increased productivity and throughput distinguish the continuous development of the innovative inserting system autoSET 18, a high-capacity machine for inserting individualized documents with selective insert feeding. The system can handle a wide range of materials for envelopes and inserts. This is an important advantage when generating documents where information about transactions is combined with advertising messages. A high degree of operator convenience, comprehensive automation, complete modularity, low noise emission and modern industrial design are other remarkable features of this inserting system.
