MB Bäuerle will present innovative solutations at the PostPrint 08

To keep up with the increasing specialisation in the printing industry, MB has concentrated on expanding the automation of its solutions. For this reason the new prestigeFOLD NET 38 will be presented at this year’s Postprint. This means that there is now also a machine with the highest level of operator convenience and CIP4-capability for the lower range of formats. The automatic setting takes over the positioning of setting elements for the flat pile feeder, fold plate stops, deflectors, fold rollers, alignment rails and delivery rollers. The touch-screen control panel for operator guidance is self-explanatory. 20 standard parallel and crossfolds are programmed, all other folds are freely programmable. Setting date of more than 200 jobs can be saved in a program memory. Set-up times for repetitive jobs are extremely short, because speed, sheet gap, shingled delivery, etc. are also set automatically. Corrections of the fold are possible with an accuracy of of 0.1 mm while the machine is running. The target group for this machine are mostly A3 printers, but it is also very interesting for pharmaceutical companies and businesses producing small-format package inserts.
The prestigeFOLD NET 52 for processing continuous forms will demonstrate that automation also makes sense for the production of mailings. This system will be used to produce a two-up selfmailer.
With the multimaster CAS 35 MB Bäuerle will show the ideal machine for the small-format range. The technically mature folding technology, the proven and tested computer control and the logical operator guidance makes this folder indispensable when top quality is asked for and schedules are tight.
