PrintFINISH (Leipzig, Germany)
The production at PrintFINISH takes place in a modern factory building with a surface area of 2000 m², whereas the engineering and sales departments share an office space of 400 m². The parent plant in St. Georgen and PrintFINISH in Leipzig/Wachau are linked, which means that all employees have direct access to a common datapool. The distance between the two companies is therefore irrelevant.
After the construction of a new building in 2001 the mechanical capacities for the manufacture of turned parts and sheet metal forming were concentrated at PrintFINISH. The CNC turning center is equipped with the latest automatic lathes, which due to their high precision are also used for producing fold rollers for all MB Bäuerle machines. Another outstanding piece of machinery is the laser cutting line. A 2400 W laser makes it possible to cut construction steel with a thickness of up to 15 mm, high-grade steel of up to 6 mm, and aluminium of up to 5 mm without having to consider minimum lot sizes or limiting the variety of shapes. The automatic warehouse that is part of this cutting line has 125 storage bins and can accommodate 375 tons of material.
The first result of the cooperation between PrintFINISH and MB Bäuerle was the flat pile feeder FSA 52. Different versions of this feeder are also assembled for folding machines of other manufacturers. Thanks to the target-oriented expansion of the assembling capacity at PrintFINISH, folding machines for the office can now also be assembled.
