The GUK-Group is the competent contact regarding high performance folding and feeding machines. On the occasions of its 70 company's anniversary the GUK-Group organized an Open House from 18th October until 20th October 2018 in Wellendingen. As an innovation for the production of leaflets the leaflet folder FA 21 Cartonac 2005 with its optimized accessibility to the folding pockets and code reader due to the liftable feeding table was as well very popular. The segmented control of air conveyor table for microair nozzle provides a steady air pillow below the paper pile. Even the processing of multilayered paper is no problem for the leaflet folder.

Another highlight in the field of product handling is the solution of the automatic feeding systems including its serialization - auto-load, auto serialize, auto-pack PA15 with TTM and GUK-Sigma PP600. The feeding system supplies the high performance booklet feeder with filled trays. Afterwards the products are extracted automatically and are fed rotated accurately by 90°. The track & trace module (TTM) prints per inkjet a unique code of each booklet and verifies the print quality. The serialized booklets afterwards are packed into trays in the automatic pack system Pick&Pack.

The folding specialist showed a special machine, the 24-buckles outsert folding system, which is based on the proven FA 53 folding series. A multiple pressing of the product as well as the use of a water scoring unit provide very flat and compact end products. The final quality control of the finished end products is in two steps, on the one hand on correct external dimensions from above and on the other hand on lateral offset, which ensures maximum safety during production. An additional inkjet serialization including control of the print quality is also included in the integrated CTM module. This module can be retrofitted at any time to the existing GUK-Vijuk MV-11 lines. In order to guarantee an ideal and gentle handling of the produced outserts an automatic packaging in trays up to 900 mm length with the new Pick&Pack PP900 was created. The empty trays are automatically fed, filled and at the end operator-friendly ejected to the front.
